Tara McPherson really is one of the coolest artists on the planet right now. Her distinctive style, subject and glorious colour pallette continues to delight from Singapore to Sao Paulo. We are very happy to bring just a taste of her wonderful artwork to you.
Tara exhibits her paintings and serigraphs in fine art galleries all over the world. Named the crown princess of poster art by Elle Magazine, she has created numerous gig posters for rock bands such as Beck, Kings of Leon and Duran Duran. Her array of art also includes making toys with companies like Kidrobot, painting comics and covers for DC Vertigo, advertising and editorial illustrations for companies such as Wyde and Spin Magazine, even teaching a class at Parsons School of Art in New York City.
But its her second art book Lost Constellations that brings her to Europe on an extensive tour of signings and appearances. This cushion from Tara McPherson and is the Kissbang C1 Cushion is part of a new growing collection of Limited Edition Cushions & Pillows designed by some of the worlds leading artists and illustrators.
Constructed of super soft faux suede printed one side with a plain back of either black or white dependent on design. Each has a feather filled inner.
We only print 250 of each design and each cushion is delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity. Covers are printed in non-toxic waterbased inks.

Creating art about people and their odd ways, her characters seem to exude an idealized innocence with a glimpse of hard earned wisdom in their eyes. Recalling many issues from childhood and good old life experience, she creates images that are thought provoking and seductive. People and their relationships are a central theme throughout her work. Tara's art has been included in books such as Lost Constellations; The Art of Tara McPherson Vol II (Dark Horse), Lonely Heart: The Art of Tara McPherson (Dark Horse), Fables: 1001 Nights of Snowfall (DC), The Art of Modern Rock (Chronicle), Illusive 2, Illustration Now! She has lectured at the School of Visual Arts, AIGA NYC, AIGA Austin, Columbus College of Art and Design, Parsons, The University of Arizona, MADE in Edmonton and Foyles London. Her art was also featured in the Oscar Award winning film Juno.
Tara was born in San Francisco in 1976 and raised in Los Angeles. She received her BFA from Art Center in Pasadena, CA in August 2001 with honors in Illustration and a minor in Fine Art. She interned at Rough Draft Studios, working on Matt Groening's "Futurama" during college. She has been featured in Juxtapoz, Esquire, Vanity Fair, Sony Magazine, Bust, Magnet, Elle, Marie Claire, Clutter, Spin, TV 3, Current TV, Swindle, CBC Radio, Super7, Inked, NY Press, LA Times, PBS, Paste, HOW, Step, Communication Arts, Society of Illustrators, Metal Hammer, International Tattoo Art, AIGA, Seattle Times, LA Weekly, Gothamist, DC Comics, Punk Planet, Savage Tattoo and many more.

Details (please include the stock code from the product detail page) of any Replacement Item(s) Required - We will confirm receipt of your email within 1 working day, or 2 working days if the email is sent on a Saturday or Sunday, and you will be instructed on what action you will need to take to return the goods.
- The original receipt or invoice must be returned. We will not proceed without this.
- Once the returned goods have been checked and verified, your account will be credited, or exchange completed as necessary.
For your safety It is recommended you use a 'signed for' delivery service, such as Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery, and ensure the package is adequately insured. We are not liable for any packages lost in the post.

Return of Goods Policy
All returns or exchanges must be completed within 14 days of placing your order.
Items to be returned must be unused, unworn and unwashed, complete with their original packaging, tags, and our supplied receipt/invoice.
If an exchange is required for an item of higher value, the new item will be dispatched upon payment of the price difference. Full postage fees are applicable to any exchange; however this is at our discretion.
You will be required to organise, and pay for the return of goods to our address.
Goods purchased at our retail stores cannot be returned to our online store.Any items returned which do not comply with the return of goods policy will be returned to the customer and will not be accepted for refund until such time that the above conditions are met. This does not affect your statutory rights, and is in compliance of the relevant UK laws.

Faulty Goods
If in the unlikely event goods are arrive faulty, a full refund, replacement or exchange will be available upon confirmation of the fault, plus the cost of postage and packing (equal to the original postage and packing cost incurred by Fat Buddha Store, unless proof of postage cost is supplied) and any other costs that have incurred as a direct result of faulty goods being supplied (providing proof is supplied).
Refunds
All refunds will be placed on the original card used for the purchase. Please allow 14 days for the refund to credit your account.
Cancellation Rights
You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days without giving a reason. The 7 days start from when you receive the goods.
