A permanent adhesive spray can come in handy when a liquid glue or paste will just not do. Montana adhesive spray is a permanent spray glue suitable for a wide range of materials including foam, jute, textiles, felt, polystyrene, plastics and foils, paper and cardboard, wood, and even insulating material. It is not intended for use on artificial leather or any other material with softening or plasticising agents.
So what kinds of things do people use this spray for? You can use it to fix decals to your skateboard or a patch to your backpack. It makes a handy repair tool for your camping and hiking gear as well. Just be sure to avoid any applications that might be subject to excessive force or pressure.
Montana spray adhesive can be applied to one or both surfaces. Simply shake it for a few minutes in order to completely mix the product in the can. Then apply to a clean, grease-free surface using an even back-and-forth motion. Allow the adhesive to sit for 3 to 10 minutes prior to joining the two pieces together. This allows the liquid portion to evaporate, leaving behind a sticky substance that offers superior adhesion. Finally, join the two pieces and press them together firmly. The adhesive should fully dry and reach maximum strength within 24 hours.
For especially porous or absorbent surfaces, Montana recommends priming with a thin layer of adhesive first. Just spray the surfaces as you otherwise would, let them stand for 5 minutes, and then follow the process outlined above. Your pieces should stick together nicely after priming.
