SUCK UK was founded in 2000 by two graduates who both studied at Central St Martins College of Art and Design in London. Sam Hurt and Jude Biddulph met by chance and after exchanging ideas and realising they were both heading in the same direction with their careers, they decided to collaborate. Moving into a squat together in North London, the pair began by producing prototypes that they made on their kitchen floor, and after developing their ideas they began selling their items. After an unexpected police raid of their squat and their subsequent eviction, Sam and Jude set up SUCK UK in offices in the east end of London, where they have been based since 2002. SUCK UK products stand out for their quirky products, which often make everyday boring tasks and activities and add humour and fun to them.
