Fat Buddha Store opened its doors on Bath Street, Glasgow in 2006. What started as a small independent shop built around a simple idea — that Glasgow needed a store for people who cared about quality clothing, honest materials, and brands with a genuine story — has grown over nearly two decades into one of the UK's most respected independent streetwear and lifestyle retailers.

We moved to Queen Street in Glasgow city centre as the business grew, and today our 81 Queen Street store spans multiple floors stocking over 130 carefully selected brands across clothing, footwear, accessories, lifestyle, and spray paint supplies.

We've been online since the beginning — 18 years of trading online means we've seen every shift in how people shop, and we've built relationships with brands and customers that we're genuinely proud of. We stock Carhartt WIP, Patagonia, Red Wing, Fjällräven, New Balance, Saucony, Montana Cans, Dickies, Birkenstock and more than a hundred other brands — chosen because we believe in them, not because they're the easiest to sell.

Fat Buddha Store is a family business. Co-owner Gillian Frew and the team are committed to doing things right — as an accredited Scotland's Living Wage employer, we believe in fair pay for the people who work here. We're independent, and we intend to stay that way.
