It is built on a supple oiled-leather upper over the anatomically contoured cork-and-latex footbed that moulds to your foot for lasting arch support, finished with an adjustable strap and metal pin buckle for a secure, personal fit. Cut to a narrow fit. SKU 59463-Narrow.
Birkenstock traces its roots to 1774, when Johann Adam Birkenstock was registered as a shoemaker in the German village of Langen-Bergheim. The contoured cork-and-latex footbed that made the name followed in 1902, and more than 250 years on the family firm still carries that same anatomically shaped support into footwear built to be worn for years.
