The Carhartt WIP Michigan Coat in Black (Stone Wash) is the classic canvas overcoat with a stone-wash process applied to the black ground — a treatment that softens and slightly fades the colour to give the coat a more broken-in, casually worn quality. The stone-wash gives the Michigan Coat a different character from the plain or rinsed black versions without losing the clean dark practicality that makes the black Michigan Coat consistently popular.
