Black, Camel Brown, Canoe is the warmer of the two colourways — a camel ground with a bold black graphic band through it.
The technical one. Omni-Heat Infinity lining — the gold dotted version — sits inside a knit shell, bouncing your own heat back rather than relying on thickness alone. Fleece-lined headband round the ears and forehead, which is where you actually feel the cold, and a pom-pom on top. The shell is Repreve recycled fabric made from plastic bottles, with a touch of elastane for stretch. One size. Style CU2902011.
Columbia was founded in Portland, Oregon, in 1938 as the Columbia Hat Company by Paul Lamfrom, taking its name from the river that runs past the city. Gert Boyle took it over in 1970 and her son Tim Boyle has led it since 1988, channelling Pacific Northwest weather-testing into outdoor gear built to be worn rather than looked at.
