The Summer 2025 edition takes its theme from Robert Macfarlane's book Is a River Alive?, with covers built from Stanley Donwood's hand-carved 'Meander' linocut — three graph memo books with real artistic pedigree.
Each three-pack holds 48-page books with a 3/16-inch graph grid on Domtar Lynx Opaque paper, wrapped in an embossed, soy-printed Sappi McCoy Silk cover. Pocket-sized 3½ × 5½ in, a limited edition of 30,000, made in the USA. SKU FNC-67.
Field Notes was founded in 2007 by designer Aaron Draplin and Jim Coudal, who revived the disappearing American memo book as a modern pocket notebook. More than fifteen years on, the brand still channels that vintage-inspired, made-in-the-USA craft into limited seasonal editions released four times a year.
