The Ray-Ban Jackie Ohh comes in transparent blue acetate with a polarised blue gradient lens, the lightest-feeling frame in the range.
Jackie Ohh takes its name and its shape from the oversized frames Jacqueline Onassis wore through the 1960s and 70s. A rounded square in thick acetate, cut generously at 58mm, though the transparent build keeps a frame this size from feeling heavy. The gradient shades against overhead sun while leaving the lower field open, polarised to cut reflected glare. Full UV protection. SKU RB4101 659278 58.
Ray-Ban began in 1937, when Bausch & Lomb built a green-tinted lens to cut the glare US Army Air Corps pilots met at altitude. The Aviator followed that year and the Wayfarer in 1952, and nearly ninety years on the name still turns that optical-first thinking into frames worn far beyond the cockpit.
