The Ray-Ban RB2210 comes in polished black acetate with a polarised green lens, the version worth the extra outlay if you drive or spend time near water.
A squared acetate frame with a flat brow and keyhole bridge, cut narrow at 53mm. The polarising filter cancels the horizontal glare thrown off wet roads and open water, which cuts eye strain over a long day. Full UV protection. SKU RB2210 901/58 53.
Ray-Ban began in 1937, when Bausch & Lomb built a green-tinted lens to cut the glare US Army Air Corps pilots met at altitude. The Aviator followed that year and the Wayfarer in 1952, and nearly ninety years on the name still channels that optical-first thinking into frames worn far beyond the cockpit.
