Maria Erixon, a former Design Director at denim giants Lee Europe started the Nudie Jeans brand in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2001 with CEO Palle Stenberg. Having enough of corporate culture, she decided it was time to start Nudie Jeans with an ecologically and environmentally-friendly frame of mind.
