The Ray-Ban RB2210 comes in polished transparent acetate with a blue lens, a clear frame that reads lighter on the face than a solid colour.
A squared acetate frame with a flat brow and keyhole bridge, cut narrow at 53mm. The transparent build lets skin tone show through the temples, which softens the whole thing. Full UV protection. SKU RB2210 6447R5 53.
Ray-Ban began in 1937, when Bausch & Lomb built a green-tinted lens to cut the glare US Army Air Corps pilots met at altitude. The Aviator followed that year and the Wayfarer in 1952, and nearly ninety years on the name still carries that optical-first thinking into frames worn far beyond the cockpit.
