Olive-sage on one face, a patchwork of Barbour tartans on the other — the Oversized Reversible Transporter turns inside out and becomes a different jacket entirely.

• Made from — an outer face of 86% polyester and 14% cotton, bonded to a 100% polyurethane membrane. Both faces are properly finished, so neither reads as a lining.
• Wears like — oversized, 70cm length. Zip and stud fastening, corduroy collar, and two pockets with handwarmer lining for when the temperature drops.
• The Barbour part — the reverse blocks three different Barbour checks against each other: red across one side of the chest, the classic olive tartan on the other, and a brown check running through the sleeves. Not a lining that happens to be tartan — a second jacket.
• Who it's for — sage when you would rather not be looked at, tartan when you would. One jacket doing both jobs is genuinely useful if you travel light.
• Looking after it — machine wash at 30°C on a very mild process. No wax, no reproofing.
