The Carhartt WIP Menard Wallet in Grey Rigid is the more unusual sibling in the Menard range — a slim bi-fold made from raw rigid grey denim rather than the more expected indigo blue. The grey rigid colourway gives the wallet a cooler, more industrial character, with the same potential for personalised fading and wear-in as raw blue denim.
Cut from rigid (unsanforized) grey denim, the Menard features a bill compartment and card slots in a slim profile. Like all raw denim, the wallet will develop creases and fade marks unique to how it’s carried and used, becoming more personal over time. SKU I033735.91.01.
Carhartt was founded in 1889 by Hamilton Carhartt in Detroit, Michigan, producing workwear designed for hard physical labour. Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) was established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh in Weil am Rhein, Germany, drawing on that heritage while engaging deeply with denim culture and European streetwear.
