Black, Peaks and Waves puts the Peaks and Waves graphic on black — the version where the print reads loudest.
Plain from the front, graphic across the back — the same trick as the long sleeve, just cut for the rest of the year. 100% cotton, lightweight, with a ribbed crew neck that keeps its shape. Regular fit, so it hangs as a normal tee rather than boxy or fitted. Nothing technical about it, which is rather the point at this price. Style AM5592004.
Columbia was founded in Portland, Oregon, in 1938 as the Columbia Hat Company by Paul Lamfrom, taking its name from the river that runs past the city. Gert Boyle took it over in 1970 and her son Tim Boyle has led it since 1988, channelling Pacific Northwest weather-testing into outdoor gear built to be worn rather than looked at.
