Built for the job site, the Field Notes Carpenter Pencil has a flat, oval body that won't roll off a bench or a roof — a set of three sturdy woodcase pencils that are just as at home marking timber as they are sketching.
Each pencil is made in the USA from quality cedar with a strong, break-resistant core, and is individually stamped with the Field Notes logo. The flat carpenter's profile sharpens easily and sits secure behind an ear or in a tool belt. SKU FN-13.
Field Notes was founded in 2007 by designer Aaron Draplin and Jim Coudal, who revived the disappearing American memo book as a modern pocket notebook. More than fifteen years on, the brand still applies that same eye for good, useful design to the pens, pencils and tools that go alongside the notebooks.
