The Ray-Ban Clubmaster Classic comes in polished black and gold with a polarised G-15 green lens, the signature colourway with the upgraded lens.
The Clubmaster is a browline frame: acetate across the top and around the temples, fine metal rims holding the lens beneath. Polarised G-15 filters the horizontal glare thrown off water, glass and wet roads, which makes it the better choice for driving. Full UV protection. 55mm eye size. SKU RB3016 901/58 55.
Ray-Ban began in 1937, when Bausch & Lomb built a green-tinted lens to cut the glare US Army Air Corps pilots met at altitude. The Aviator followed that year and the Wayfarer in 1952, and nearly ninety years on the name still translates that optical-first thinking into frames worn far beyond the cockpit.
