The Ray-Ban Justin comes in polished rubber blue with a grey gradient lens, the most colour-forward frame in the Justin run.
Justin borrows the Wayfarer's outline and pushes it wider and squarer, in a lighter propionate rather than acetate. The rubberised surface resists fingerprints and grips a little at the temples. The gradient shades against overhead sun while leaving the lower field open. Full UV protection. 55mm eye size. SKU RB4165 681311 55.
Ray-Ban began in 1937, when Bausch & Lomb built a green-tinted lens to cut the glare US Army Air Corps pilots met at altitude. The Aviator followed that year and the Wayfarer in 1952, and nearly ninety years on the name still channels that optical-first thinking into frames worn far beyond the cockpit.
